The Numerous Advantages of Teas

There’s a lot of us tea fiends out there nowadays. With the local natural food markets stocking up entire rows of every imaginable variation of tea leafs, and the convenience of a Starbucks within blocks of each other, we all have a wide range of options with the teas we can drink. Many of us have our favorites that we stick to each and every time we seep up a batch. Personally, I prefer a good cup of green tea with a bit of honey. It calms me down just enough to relax and focus on whatever is on my mind. Many times we do not think of the numerous benefits of teas, but rather the simple pleasures they present. Here is a list of some health benefits that varies with each type of tea. If you haven’t tried, or even heard of some of these types, maybe these health advantages will get you to order something new at ‘ol “Buckles”.

General Advantages To All Types of Teas

To add to the list of the 2,538 reasons why you should drink tea, a study by the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology says that regular tea consumption can reduce the risk of skin cancer caused by overexposure in the sun. They say that adults that drink one to two cups of tea per day were 20 to 30 percent less likely to develop cancer than non-tea drinkers. The variety of teas out there provide such a large range of flavors. There are many awesome special variations to each type of tea, as well, so how could you ever get tired of this stuff? If you love drinking tea, then lucky you. You will never be able to have enough of this good stuff!
