Breathing and Relaxation: How to Improve Breathing With Hypnosis

Breathing and relaxation are reliant on each other. These interdependent forces can bring you to a state of heightened awareness, especially when used in conjunction with hypnosis. Your respiratory system is an integral part of your being and each time you breathe with purpose, your breath reminds you of this.

Breathe With Purpose

You already know that if you don’t breathe, your body fails. Your cells need oxygen to thrive and simply taking in breaths is not enough to help your body flourish. You also require some attention in the realm of interconnectedness.

Your mind and your body work together in order to move you through your life experiences. Breathing and relaxation help you realize that your mental processes, emotional responses and your physical condition are interdependent. Your breaths are the center of this interaction.

When you breathe with purpose, you are focusing on allowing the breaths to fill your lungs with rich oxygen that enters your blood stream and is delivered to each cell. Some assert that relaxation self help approaches that use breathing exercises can improve the functioning of your cells.

Breathing And Relaxation

When you relax in this way, all of the vessels in your body expand to deliver rich nutrients and oxygenated blood to each cell. Shallow breaths do little for you and if you really think about the relaxing process, you begin to see that your breaths are a significant indicator of your emotional and mental state.

Consider a person who is experiencing a panic attack or other overwhelming occurrence. Breathing is shallow and the individual has great difficulty catching his breath. This can be frightening in itself and can lead to more panicked feelings in the process.

Deep, slow breaths help you take a moment to regroup when you are in distress and concentrating on each breath is a fantastic approach to reaching a deeply relaxed state. This is the pattern of inner harmony and peacefulness.

Self-Hypnosis

Your subconscious mind regulates your breathing patterns and you may not be aware of how shallow your breaths really are until you take a moment to concentrate on taking a deep breath. When you use self-hypnosis to achieve a deeply relaxed state, you are opening your breaths to reach the depths of your being, offering nurturing oxygen and peacefulness.

The more that you practice this exercise, the more your subconscious adopts this into your normal body regulation. Your automatically revert back to your inhalation exercises to create inner peace and to foster good health.
